How to measure

Fit varies between styles, so every Huntech product has its own size chart on its product page. The most reliable way to choose your size is to measure a garment you already own and like the fit of, then compare it to that chart.

The quick method

  1. Pick a garment that fits

    Choose a top, jacket or pair of pants you like the fit of, ideally a similar style to the one you're buying.

  2. Lay it flat

    Put it on a table or the floor, smooth out any wrinkles and do up zips and buttons.

  3. Measure the garment

    Use a tape measure to take the measurements shown below. Measure the garment, not your body.

  4. Compare to the size chart

    Open the size chart on the product page and choose the size closest to your measurements.

Where to measure

Tops & Jackets

How to measure tops and jackets: chest (A) and length (B)
Chest (pit to pit)
Measure straight across the front from armpit seam to armpit seam, about 2cm below the armpits.
Length
Measure from the highest point of the shoulder, where it meets the collar, straight down to the bottom hem.

Bottoms

How to measure bottoms: waist (C) and outleg (D)
Waist
With the waistband done up, measure straight across the top edge from one side to the other.
Outleg
Measure from the top of the waistband down the outside of the leg to the bottom of the hem.

Fit tips

Flat vs full measurements

A flat measurement like pit to pit is half the full circumference. Check which one the product's size chart uses, and double yours if needed.

Between sizes

Size up if you want room for layering or a relaxed fit. Size down if you prefer a closer fit.

Outer layers

For jackets, measure a jacket you normally wear over your usual layers, not a base layer or tee.

Allow a little variation

Measurements are taken by hand, so allow 1 to 2cm either way when comparing to the chart.
