ARE YOU ROAR READY?

What is the Roar?

Roar hunting is a popular hunting activity in New Zealand that takes place during the rutting season, also known as the roar.

This is a period when male red deer, the most hunted species, produce a loud and distinctive roar to attract females. The roar hunting season typically starts in late March and ends in late April.
